I am a freelance fiction and non-fiction writer based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I have BA and MA degrees in History, and am always looking for work in terms of short and long form fiction and non-fiction writing.
I've written two books on the history of animation on television in North America. The first is a narrative history- America 'Toons In, and the second is The Encyclopedia of American Animated Television Shows. Both are available for purchase on Amazon or from the websites of their respective publishers, McFarland and Co. and Rowman and Littlefield.
In relation to this, I operate the animation themed publication FOCUS! on Medium. See the pinned "Call For Papers" for submission guidelines if you are interested in contributing.
Besides that, I have also published several long form of works of fiction and story collections, including my first novel, Orthicon, also available from Amazon. These may be serialized on Medium in the future.
On Medium, when not reading other people's work and being lionized for my apparent skill at highlighting, I have published several short series along with various unrelated stories and essays. You can find them collected in the Lists section.
I always enjoy interacting with my readers, so please feel free to get in touch with me on and off this platform and I'll make myself available.
